Santander and Recruitment Expo

I was at the Recruitment Expo at the NEC nr Birmingham on Thursday the 5th of October with my colleague Vicky Hawkins.

The event seemed to be well attended and the feedback from the exhibitors was really positive.

The range of exhibitors was quite extensive from CRM System Providers to Payroll, Insurance Companies & Funders and environmental companies so a strong focus on ESG. The exhibitors were very communicative, and it was worthwhile hearing about their businesses and products. This insight is always invaluable when we speak to our recruitment sector clients and prospects.

In terms of the seminars, I managed to attend 2 which were really useful Insights were excellent on growing profitably and sustainably. Both were well attended and very well presented; so well done!

Its obvious that, like most sectors the Recruitment Sector will have its challenges in 2024. However, the themes were of the opportunities for growth, optimisation and how to overcome challenge which was really welcomed.

I have included a couple of photos and I look forward to the next Expo in London.

Finally I met with our friends at APSCo (thank you Joanna Rice) and it was lovely to catch up face to face. If you are a Midlands Recruiter, Santander is hosting the Midlands APSCo Forum on Thursday the 19th of October. The subject is Bring the Recruiter of the Future with ChatGBT so a really relevant subject and the attendee numbers are good. Hopefully see you then.”
