Our recruitment and workforce solutions team specialises in supporting recruitment businesses on all their legal issues. We’ve been a proud partner of APSCo for a number of years.
We assist recruitment businesses in achieving their growth objectives by advising on company structures, EMI share options, shareholder agreements, director and employment contracts, commission and long-term incentive schemes, as well as office moves and banking facilities.
Our specialist team works with recruitment clients on commercial trading agreements including MSP, RPO and statement of works supply, as well as agreements for the supply of umbrella, payroll and co/joint employment services. We also advise on procurement and immigration issues.
We protect recruitment businesses by dealing with post-termination restrictive covenants and fee disputes, as well as contractor, director and employee disputes. We’re experts in dealing with data protection issues in the recruitment sector and regulatory investigations from the Employment Agency Standards Inspectorate, HMRC including NMW investigations, IR35, status issues and tax investigations and/or defending prosecutions.
When our recruitment clients look to acquire businesses or realise their investments, we work with them to sell and buy businesses, including advising on the transition to Employee Ownership through Employee Ownership Trusts.
