Joanne Lockwood, Inclusive Culture Expert, SEE Change Happen
The importance of mental well-being is a key component of any EDI&B policy. Everyone can experience stress and anxiety in the workplace, but transgender and nonbinary individuals often face unique and formidable challenges, particularly the harmful effects of anti-trans rhetoric on their mental health and well-being. Allies, have the power to make a real impact. By dispelling myths, educating ourselves and others, and offering steadfast support, we can stand against transphobia and help ensure that transgender individuals can live freely and safely, like everyone else.
Following the presentation, Joanne will host an open Q&A session, providing insights into the challenges faced by the trans community and offering practical strategies for support.
A chance to discuss with your peers, how to start and advance your organisation’s equity, diversity, inclusion and belonging journey by building understanding and providing support to your employees.
